How to change heated seat values vcds

hi,
I’m trying to change my settings on my heated seats on my 2010 s3 with vcds, it hardly feels like they’re working at all. Measuring values says it’s 39 degrees on setting 6, and I have read that the older models used to be at 64 degrees.
Is there any way of altering the values as it just says error when I go into adaption channels 21-26, do I need a HVAC security access code?
Any help much appreciated thank you

It looks like your’re in the right place but I can’t remember if you need the security code, I don’t think you do.

Although the pose is for the Q3 retrofit all the coding details are there. You’ll have 6 channels to play with whereas the Q3 only has 3.

It doesn’t look as though the adaptions are the same as channel 26 comes up with an error on mine.

I’ll keep having a play around and see if I can work it out, maybe I’ll just have to swap for a Q3 module!

Try out car dismantlers to see if they have got any Q3 in and see if the CC is still in the car as you could be lucky as i picked 1 up for measly 12 quid and that included the vat .

I’ll definitely have to check that out! There’s quite a few salvage yards round by me so I’ll go have a look around and see if they have any in!

Best thing to do first rather than pay well over the odds on ebay cauae you just never know all the best

Hi. Did you ever find a solution for this? I looked through the Q3 thread and didn’t find much. I also tried the 24,25 and 26 channels which weren’t accessible. I’ve also got an S3.
 
I have a Sport with cloth seats albeit heated of course and passenger is considerably less warm than driver. Heating element damaged? Or can this be changed in VCDS..
 
No the seats are fine. It’s the controller that won’t allow the seats to go above 39 degrees. My prefacelift max value is set to 64 degrees and they get hot!

Hi Lewis,

ive been trying to adjust my heated seats since I’ve had the car have you managed to figure this out yet? Any help would be appreciated.
