Anyone know if the sports exhaust catback from 2017 model fits or is the same catback they used for the 19/69 regs? Cant get a part number for it, part number for 2017 model is 8v0-253-611-B

You wouldn't happen to know if the sports exhaust from pre opf 2017 model would fit the facelift 69/20 model by any chance?

The rear section should I believe.

Ah you have a PFL cat back for sale and want to fit it to a FL ?
PFL 15-16 plate cars have different valve connections at the rear to FL.
one has three pins one has four pins.

Sorry @Darnrr you misunderstand.

Your 67 Saloon is a ‘Facelift’ same as 19 onwards OPF cars.

So connections should be the same.

However I’d imagine the saloon exhaust is maybe a tad longer than the SportBack.

Aw i see i thought the opf cars where Facelift's but wasnt sure if the catbacks would be the same or not.

Brilliant thanks for your help @T-1000

Newb here
I've bought a 19 sportback sport edition . It doesn't seem to have a sport exhaust is this the case

If the sport pack was spec'd with the car, then I think... it comes with a sport exhaust, or extra £1K.

If it’s the Sport Edition then yes it comes with sports exhaust and will have black tips.

Get a valve controller fitted and it will improve the sound in the low revs quite a bit!

Guys, did the pre OPF FL sports exhaust come with black tips also?

Just got a mate who bought a 2018 saloon and told it had sports exhaust but they’re the chrome tips?

mid they’re chrome tips it does not have sports exhaust on a 2018 plate. Tip colour may have changed on the 2019 WLTP cars, but the 18 reg is too early for that to possibly apply.

Yep same as WLTP cars then as mine are black tips.

Bit naughty as they advertised it with RS sports exhaust but he didn’t know about the black tips! Due to COVID he didn’t test drive it either, dealer said they just put in reg and it came up with the list of options!

Yea it has the black tips but no pops or bangs
Thanks

Ok cheers for that. Thanks
Unless you map it like I’ve done and get added power and pops/bangs/burbles from the exhaust :icon thumright:

And yes yes I know I’ve got to post some sound clips LOL :redface new:

Just trying to pick my moment, have elderly neighbours but waiting for them to pop out, not that it’s PFL loud but still the pops might set the poor guy into a heart attack!! :scared2:

Well I don't have that problem apparently 19/20 models don't pop and bang ☹ Thinking about a miltek any suggestion.

Mine is a 2019 model but have it mapped by REVO and adds the pops and bangs plus valves open in dynamic which really helps.

Turns out my mates car also didn’t come with mag ride even though advertised!! He’s happy with the car but I’d be livid knowing that sports exhaust and mag ride are probably very high on the options list!

So turns out my sports exhaust (silencers and back modded) from my 2017 saloon fits the 2020 saloon, sold it to a guy and it sounds good on the opf car, just incase anyone was thinking about buying a sports from a pre opf car
