So guys, I’m a newbie from the UK. and would appreciate your help.

I’ve just ordered a brand new factory build A4 Vorsprung 35 tfsi on a 2 year lease deal. It’s due for delivery in October/November this year.

Am I right I’m thinking that it will definitely be a model year 2021??

Also what changes to the current model year can I expect on the 2021?

2nd question

I haven’t yet chosen the colour of my vehicle. What would you all recommend? I’m considering Quantum Grey, any one have any pics of a Vorsprung in this colour? If not, what other colours would you recommend for this spec and model.

3rd question

As this is a lease car, I don’t want to spend much money on extra parts but I was considering just adding a subtle rear spoiler to it. Which spoiler would you recommend? Do Audi offer a spoiler for this vehicle?
 
Not sure any of those questions were classed as URGENT.

Choose whichever colour you like, quantum grey is nice with the black edition. less so with the chrome imho.

Can’t help with the rest of the questions except to hazard a guess there won’t be many model year changes as the facelift only just came out.

Congratulations! I've a A4 Avant 35 TFSI on order in standard white. Due around the same time as yours. I'm moving from an A5 Sportback S-Line. Both on PCH deals.

2021MY goes into production from the 3rd week of July. If you have a build week for this week or beyond, others will be a 2021MY. Any additional kit will be free as you are locked into 2020MY prices.

Changes. The 35 engines with 150PS get an upgrade to 165PS as Audi is moving from 8 to 12V mild hybrid engine technology.

If you have optioned the free rock grey interior you will get black carpet, not charcole. Headrests will he 100% synthetic leather.

Depending on what Audi UK decide, Audi US are adding heated steering wheel and heated rear seats to its Premium Plus version, which is the S-Line here. Remains to be seen if that or other changes come to the UK market.

Colour. First rule of leasing is resist / avoid adding options on the car! Any / the more you add the lesser a deal you got on the PCH. Wise to remember it is not yours. Why pay for optionional extras now that give the first buyer of the car free upgrades at very little cost? A £1,000 sunroof option from new, for example, is around £100 premium on the second hand market.

However, it is often cheaper to upgrade yo the next spec than it is specing a lower model. Also, the S-Line and Black Editions (when I ordered mine in April); had a £7 a month premium to get the Comfort and Sound versions which had heavy subsidies than getting the S-Line or Black Edition and optioning Comfort and Sound which added circa £45 p/m

Reference the spoiler (or any other modifications), remember the above. It is not your car. As such if you read the T and Cs it will explicitly say you are not allowed to change or modify anything on the car that didn't come with it from factory.

All I have done to mine is add Audi light rings when you open the door. £115 as an option. £40 off a main dealer on here. The old door light pops out and I popped the new in. Will reverse this when the car goes back when I get the A4, around the time yours is due. I added a bootliner and that's it.

If you wanted a soldier, get an Avant, it's huge on the rear top window!

Anyone have pics of a Vorsprung Quantum grey?

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'm about to pick up an almost 1 year old A4 Avant 40 TDI S-line. I'll be wanting a boot liner with maybe a bumper protector flap to overhang when loading the dog and rubber mats. You mentioned a sizeable discount on your light rings through a main dealer on here. Are they likely to offer decent discount on the things I just mentioned? If so, can you provide contact details?

What do you guys think of the Navarra Blue on the A4 Vorsprung?? Im still not too sure about the Quantum Grey as many think it looks like a primer?
 
Im not thinking either Turbo Blue or Quantum Grey.....hmmmm...
 
URGENT is when your engine is in bits on your garage floor and you need to be somewhere

Hey Matt

The dealer was one listed in The Trading Post tab here. Main dealer, sells lots when they are over stocked.

See if they have any or have discounts. The boot liner is a must. Have it in my A5 . About £100. Look on eBay too for folk who have one and need to get rid. A 2015 onwards will fit (a B9 model).

^ Thanks for the heads up, I'll give the trading post a look. If I can wangle 25% off as a parting gift from the dealership, I'll probably buy from them (doubt it will be an option).
 
Sorry guys, my questions are not massively urgent but are quite crucial for me as about to make a decision on a vehicle for two years lease.

What is your opinions on turbo blue? A bit too loud or quite nice?

Heated steering wheel would definitely be a nice addition. I already have the heated rear seats on the Vorsprung anyway. Hopefully these additional changes that US is getting will come across to the UK too.
 
I've ordered navarra blue. Build scheduled for 06 July. So I'll get an MY20 if nothing changes.

I've read the flat bottom wheel is dropped for MY21 in the vorsprung?

I went vorsprung as I usually end up retrofitting stuff I should have ordered in the first place!
Heated wheel will give me something to tinker with though if it's added on the 21 and I get a 20......let's see what happens......

Ventilated seats would be nice (they get them in the USA) but I can't see it.

Yes my thoughts are inline with yours. Turbo blue would be nice on an RS or even S4 but a bit too loud for my 35 tfsi Vorsprung, but not sure if I want to go for the standard Daytona grey that everyone seems to go for :(

No pics , I only had the generic generated images from the configurator so it's a gamble in my part. I intend to get the mirrors painted in blue as I don't like the look of them in black.

Black styling with Navarra is an excellent combination imo !

We got our A4 since yesterday. And yes it’s a navarra blue with the black optic pack and I really love it!

With the light on it, it looks a bit like Golf R Lapiz Blue. Looks a bit darker than that in reality.

@los cuentos......Are they 19inch rims that you have on there?
 
I think Navarra is probably my favourite colour to look at and in pictures, (and for “kerb appeal”) but be prepared to spend a lot of time washing and polishing it, touching in stone chips etc!
 
So I have the MY2020 in Navarra Blue and absolutely love it. Agreed with the comments around kerb appeal and when shining it really does turn heads! My only issue with it though is how quickly you can see all the dust on it - I’ve had it 9 months now and feel like I’m constantly washing it! If you’re prepared to keep up on the maintenance it’s bliss. Definitely puts a smile on my face every time I walk up to it.

That's lovely - in many ways I miss my Navarra, but as you say it only needs seconds to look dusty again. Glad I moved to Manhattan Grey though which is slightly better from a cleaning perspective!

Loving those alloy wheels - not sure I've seen those in the UK?
 
+1 for black optic Navarra Blue - great choice.
Finished in Opticoat treatment and this is after a wash - no polish.

I've also ordered an A4 in Navarra blue and have the same build date as you (6th July) I've gone for the A4 2.0 190PS S-Tronic - Saloon - Black Edition

Mine was status 24/QC as of this morning , so it's a little ahead of schedule perhaps.

Yes lets see who gets their car first lol :) I ordered mine back in March...its on PCH so not sure which Audi Branch the car will be arriving at. (deliveryDealerCode "00726" )

Looks like you will be getting the car first...just checked mine is at status 20 (Order Preparation)
