Looks good, just need to see a white one now

Really?! Sorry I know it’s personal opinion, not my car and each to their own but I think this looks terrible. Too much black all up front. Without any badges it just does make sense...

I’ve got used to this look but decided to put the front plate back on, got some Velcro strap/hooks that are holding it surprisingly well. Just wanted to open up the grille again if that makes sense

Put your reg on the side, looks too good to put the reg plate back on the honeycomb!

That’s what I’m thinking but I can’t be ***** with getting a sticky one and then removing all the sticky stuff from the bumper if I don’t like it

I was thinking of putting the yellow s3 badge on my front grill to suit the one on my rear but unsure about fitment

Fitting the front badges can be abit of a bitch, i loosened the top two bolts ontop of the grill to get my hand down the back. You'll just be able to wiggle the clips behind.

100% you will love it. £25 from Pro Plates, £10 Autoglym Tar and Glue incase you don't like it comes away easy.
So much better off the honeycomb, but thats my opinion...

Got any photos bud, as i dont want to put uo that cheap sh!t to bolts and nut style badge on the front as my grill has no mount points for audi badge or s3 badge its just straight honeycomb

Mine are from Stealth Badges, they do them all S3, RS3 etc... Fitment exactly the same as OEM defo not the hideous silver long bolt through eBay crap.
The clips on the badges are a little awkward but loosen the top of the grill to get your hand down and should be OK.
I changed my red ones for yellow about 2 weeks ago.

Fitted my ‘Press clutch to start bypass harness’, along with the new clutch switch that I broke yesterday. It needed changing anyway because of the hanging revs thing so all good .

The hanging revs is apparently quite common on EA113 TFSIs and probably on others too. When you go to change gear (on a manual) your revs don’t drop, they ‘hang’. This is caused by a faulty switch/sensor on the clutch master cylinder. It needed changing anyway but I broke the ****** yesterday fitting the bypass harness.

Oh, and that’s just the standard valve cover with an S3 sticker.

Hi @J0N - where does the clutch switch go, is it in the engine bay or off the back of the pedal, sorry I can’t tell from the pic. Did you have a part# handy? I’m to fit my bypass cable so will do the switch at the same time. Cheers!

It’s on the master cylinder mate. The part number for the clutch switch is 1K0927810B

The bypass is a great little mod. Easy to fit (if a bit fiddly) and only £25 posted.

Does anyone else’s aircon make a really annoying noise when parked? Sat parked in neutral (manual S3 59 reg) and the AC is so annoyingly loud. Sat at 22degrees C with it on auto and as soon as I tap the AC button (to turn it off) and the noise goes instantly so I’m 100% sure it’s that. Is there a problem with it or have I just got used to driving with the windows open and no climate control on, cheers

late night shenanigans in a parking deck? awesome! a security guard would've stopped us or get a fine from the garage owner if we did that in NJ
did you use a base coat or just sprayed the color straight?

Finished of US spec centre console with 8V wireless charger, signal booster, cup holder lighting and moved 12V to the boot as per oem.
Also fitted TTRS 8S wheel with all associated wiring - drive select operating the S button. Currently away for paint and then to be rebuilt.

Have you got any part numbers for the centre console, wireless charger etc? Looks smart

Yeah lol. Security ain't bothering with any of that here.

Was a paint brush job. Wire brushed the dirt off, rough sanding for a key, wipe down with white spirit, then 3 coats of paint.

(Hopefully) fixed my glove box hinge.

I decided to rework my folding mirrors on remote mod. This time I wanted to make sure the door control units controlled the mirrors when ignition on, driving etc. Also desperately needed to tidy up the wiring in the doors. I think it turned out ok. I’m still waiting on one connector for the mod making it removable from vw that didn’t turn up today.
