After 3 and a half years battling with the oil usage the engine finally gave up yesterday.
It's going to cost me £3000 just for a replacement engine. My plan is to do it myself to keep costs down.
Anyone know best place to get an S4 V6 engine from.
Also. I wanted to remove engine but keep gearbox and sub frame in the car. Is this doable.

Don't know. Just seized.
My replacement isn't here yet. Might strip the old one down to find out when it's out of the car.

Had a similar poem with my 09 B8 2.0tfsi low oil pressure and had pull out motor only to discover cylinder 4 was doing the wiggle and dogded a bullet coz my pistons were still on standard. I'm still busy putting it back together hoping this will solve it. Anyone have the mPping diagram of the piping connections for under the hood?
