Re map on 3.0 tdi

Hi all
New to this forum but have just purchased an 2009 a4 3.0 tdi Quattro cab with 11,000 miles from new and it’s fantastic, but I’d like a bit more power . I live in Essex , can anyone recommend a garage that will remap to give more power? Any idea what I can expect in terms of upgrade.

Hi welcome to Audi-Sport.net. 11K miles on an 11 year old car is pretty good going. @bobby singh lives in that part of the world. Very handy for you. He runs a 500bhpA4 3.0 TDI. How much power are you looking for ?.

If it's only ever come out when the sun is shining then could well be 11K miles. This is the UK.

My cabby was remapped by Shark Performance to 270bhp and 550NM which made a noticeable difference, particularly in the midrange. That company has gone to the wall but there are plenty of others quoting higher gains. I'd recommend checking your insurance before getting your map of choice done, some won't cover you over a certain % increase.
 
Hi 2009 B7? what is the engine code? or maybe take the engine cover off and take a pic
Hopefully its a B8 with a 2260 as BV50's are not much use.

Thanks for the reply, not sure really used to driving 2017 M6 but couldn’t resist this when I saw it. It’s out the box new , even smells new inside! It does feel a bit pedestrian but thought getting it close to 300 bop would inject a bit of go. Don’t want to cause engine problems. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

Different engine but i had a 3.0 v6 turbo diesel mercedes so its the same kind of platform and i had that mapped and it was a different car obviously not the fastest thing in the world being in an e class 1900kg car but the 600nm certainly made it change the feel of the car, if I remember right i think it made 225hp stock and about 270-275 on a stage 1 map, so id highly recommend a good custom map if your looking to liven it up a little.
 
Yep 211 facelift estate, would of liked the 265hp 212 but £10k was my cut off point and you wasn't getting a 212 for anywhere near 15k at the time.
