I just checked the other day and they were in stock didn't do anything special but as I said everywhere else was out of stock.

Just a quick clean as done a deep clean a few weeks back and the car hasn't moved, just to get rid of the dust and bird mess.
Car is getting wrapped this week so although I know the wrap place will clean it, figured if I could make it as clean as possible it makes their life easier!
Also used the new quick connect Lance and what a bit of kit that is! Huge time saver and a lot easier than the massive karcher Lance!
***** upload quality, also good to see the ceramic coating I put on my summer wheels done it's job! Water beaded off a treat.

So a bit of a time on my hands meant I could focus on getting my garage floor epoxy painted.
After is was done I noticed the garage doors were letting the side down so took some APC and some brushes to them and gave them a freshen up much better now!
Does this count as detailing?

Yes. Yes it does. It absolutely ruddy does. Fantastic job there mate. My garage renovation project has been tickling along for about a year now (snatching a bit of time when I can). The last major job I have is to sort the flooring. So you've gone epoxy paint - did you use a 2-pack paint system? I've been pondering the pros and cons of epoxy 2-pack vs porcelain tiles (garage grade - not as daft as it sounds), vs a resin based flooring system (with some disco flecks in, lol). If you can share any more info on your thought process and method I'd be grateful pal.
I've been there done that with domestic garage floor paint - doesn't last long at all, so looking for a something durable and long lasting!
Perfick detailing weather today - cool, dry and overcast. So I set to it.
Won't bore you with the details, mostly usual method, with a couple of twists...
1. Turtle Wax Dry and Shine wet coat was sprayed onto the still wet, clean car, BUT then leveled off using a damp, rung-out MF applicator pad to get even coverage and prevent any streaking before being rinsed off. This worked a TREAT, and a much better method than just spraying and rinsing. I rate this product highly, it's cheap as chips, durable, leaves a very slippery finish and is V. glossy. After the recent chemical decon of the paint I'm really happy with the finish.
2. I'm using Autoglym Polar Wash as a wheel cleaner, through the snow foam lance to sort the wheels before I get onto the bodywork. I have a second lance bottle - definitely worth getting a second bottle, so you can use one product for wheels and a different one (BH Auto Foam) for bodywork pre-wash IMO. I ceramic coated the wheels last autumn, so don't need to use an aggressive wheel cleaner, but AG PW has just enough bite to do a top job on the wheels. This new method works well for me.
Polished m'tips, dressed the tyres, cleaned the glass inside and out, and a quick interior detail, before back in the garage as it's gonna pee it down for the next week. It's a satisfying feeling having a mint clean car in the garage when it's raining outside

Audi have leaned into this look with latest models, so think it could look OEM+ rather than boy racer. What do you lot think about this on Daytona Grey? I know it's my car and my choice is the only one that matters, blah, blah...I'm just interested in what the 'informed crowd' - those with an eagle eye for detail think

Onto happier topics, the black badges get a thumbs up from me. Plenty places well decent quality reps for a fraction of the price, if you wanted to save some pennies. Stealthbadges have a good rep and got mine from "freshmodsuk" on Instagram. Contemplating getting gloss back S5 badges soon.

Thanks Jimbob. So if you're interested here's the process:
Start with one dusty garage where the blummin leaves blow in and wind me up!
Diamond cut the top layer of dusty concrete back to a decent level then PVA seal the floor:
Wait for this to dry before laying a smooth screed coat down:
Then one coat of epoxy resin paint (goose grey)
then the last coat:
Then sit back hang a few pics and enjoy the dust free detailing space:
Pic heavy again, I know. Whole project £1200.
I also looked at the flecky tiles but found them not to be very hard wearing and to do the double garage would have cost 3.5k. A little too strong for me.

I think the black badges would suit your S3 well - the only prob for me is I would have to do the chrome exhaust tips to finish the black look off
But that could just be me lol
Been tempted to change the badges on the X3 to black ones. I've even got a black X3 but just can't make my mind up ...

Personally speaking, I think only the back would suit it (Also what I’m thinking on our own S3). Had the day off yesterday so I thought I would put some kind of protection on.....
Standard 2 bucket, snowfoam, decontaminated......finished off with a good coat of autobrite glaze left to cure for a bit then topped with two coars of Gtechniq Liquid Crystal that I found in the garage and had never used..... not bad for 64 plate...

Guff iphone photo it was taken by my son's phone lol though and l just gotta a new phone another Samsung A71 as my last A70's screen went by the Dodo cost me £300 to upgrade....going to fit my OEM Gloss Black Audi logos and emblems this weekend ...so i'll give my car a good wash n Wax....and take some photos and post....nice to see ye back on here Nev....place has been going down the drain.......of late....such is life right now
Took a photo outside Jordan's new house this week...the light pollution was very low so colours tend to look/pop better still love this car, can't fault...but it needs 2 new front tyres they'll get done this week or early next

Well all logos and emblems arrived yesterday..took the chrome ones off today firstly fitted the front 4 rings and S3 logo ...a doddle,then to the rears the existing chrome ones where a pain in the *** to remove done bootlid logo first..took the old one off...cleanse then fitted the new gloss black logo only to find it was far too large...10mm too wide and 5 cm too tall so it doesn't adhere to the bootlid properly...going to email crewe Audi Audi tonight

I think that suits your car very nicely mate. There's enough of a contrast between the gloss black rings and the rest of the black grille. Looks great - very stealth.
You've said your new rear Audi rings are a bit bigger. Makes me wonder if the saloon has slightly smaller rings than the a Sportback due to the crease in the bootlid? I've just measured the rings on the back of my Sportback, and they're 190mm x 65mm - how does that compare with the black rings you've put on your car today pal? Would you mind sharing the measurements?
£175 is crackers for x4 pieces of plastic. On the one hand it makes me cross that Audi are taking the **** charging that much, but I guess it means there will only be a few of us daft enough to consider spending that, so keeps the look pretty exclusive!
The 4 circles logo l got delivered is 70 mm tall and 200 mm wide,l would'nt bother buying the oem rear emblem...buy the faux one as the oem one does'nt look any better....bit disappointed with it to be honest,the front rings looks class as does the front/rear S3 emblems
So buy the faux rear black stick on 4 circles and the faux clip on front S3 emblem....as for the rest, buy the oem one's as the faux variants are smaller
