Just my opinion but I think the government has made a glorified balls up over relaxing the laws on letting us loose to early re corona
We’ll all be on lockdown again before you know it and another 40000 people will have lost their lives

Hey, if Dom can do it, then the government backing him up to their balls have screwed themselves over. BOJO got my vote, but he's looking like a complete **** right now.

Maybe it is a case of we are dammed if we do and dammed if we don't and people are just doing it anyway.
You need to come down to my local village green chap and see things , its been bonkers packed all week.

It's not a small village green to be honest but everyday the amount of people in groups has been stupid , no way are they are sticking to guidelines and a lot are not local either , driving into the village and parking all over the place.
I've lived around the village for almost all my life and it has never been this busy day after day, people just appear to be doing what they want anyway now so relaxing things will make zippo difference if you ask me, well it won't around my neck of the woods.

I've nothing against everyone getting out in the sun and being sensible etc but it is starting to become a problem with so many people visiting and staying on the village green from dawn till dusk.

It’s just the same round my neck of the woods Rob
My next door neighbors from hell had a party yesterday afternoon and half the night
Probably 15 people in all most smoking weed and stinking our house out
Even had her mum there who’s husband is in hospital with Corona

... and the government expect us to do our "duty" by using "common sense" LMAO

Sadly some of us do and other don't.

Rightly or wrongly Mr Boris has to do something to try and satisfy everyone and lets be honest it is never going to happen , I'm just sitting on the fence now but is there a straight forward answer and solution , nope, we'll just have to muddle on and see what happens.
If things get better that's excellent but if it all goes **** up again , don't be surprised.

If this virus was like the bubonic plague then I'd go wholeheartedly with the precautions the government but they are propping the death figures up with any deaths (with no tests) !?
This is my own opinion btw

Way too early to be coming out of lockdown. Still too many deaths and new infections. Too long to turn around test results track & trace not working.
Plenty of idiots taking liberties with lockdown in place already. People will be acting like everything's back to normal today.
We're not even at the stage we were supposed to be for easing measures, this has been brought forward because the Government are scared they are losing credibility and popularity over supporting Cummings.

Why not just allow the people who want to be out, go out, and the ones who want to stay home, stay home. That way the risk is up to you and you’re taking your own life into your own hands.

The truth is that the country is broke! Funding the furlough has crippled the economy. The cure is becoming worse than the disease,IMO. We need to get,or try to get back to earning. The cure isn’t available, and staying home, and hiding from this isn’t an option forever. It is what it is,and we need to just get on with it.

Yeah economy is still pretty dead, not grumbling too much as have profited quite well on predicting ups and downs, certainly not in a sadistic way though also work for the NHS and have been creating some cutting edge stuff which is certainly helping to point us in the right direction.

............same here. I look on this like a war, soldiers have to go & some don't come back but many do. This is the same, sadly people have died & more will but we still need to get the country back on track or there will be nothing left to go back too.

Sadly, people are not taking the advice seriously and are treating it more like a joke. I couldn’t believe the pictures I seen of Bournemouth and Brighton Beaches over the weekend. People were huddled like penguins!

I believe after the justified recent protests (not the looting) and the coming ones the 'second wave' should be upon us and the states in 7/14 days, watch this space.

We're all doomed after all, and with an ever increasing daily population globally that makes all the deaths look very small in comparison maybe its all our own doing.
Just my input .

Humans just cant keep on at this rate on this planet.

My stance on this is,
We are in a hole, that we dug into too late.
Ok, so the R is dropping according to pretty graphs and such and we are gradually coming through it.
Unless we do get a second spike, which is predicted, and at the rate people are thinking it's over may well happen.
Time will tell
An old adage to those that actually give a FU@$
Common sense prevails.
Be careful, use common sense, we should be ok.

Regarding the massive bomb hole in our economy, well, I predict some sort of corona recovery tax.
I have no problem paying £5 a week in additional tax to get us up and going again.
If EVERYONE in the country paid £20 a month out of there wages, benefits, etc we will be ok.
Obviously just my opinion FWIW

Still quiet where we live, more out and about yes albeit still in very small numbers vs before CV19. Imho you have to get back to normal as quick as you can as otherwise how many will die etc due to economic Armageddon + what sort of life is it being stuck at home virtually 24/7.
