I've recently had an Revo Induction Kit fitted to my Audi S3 8p, But Since Having This Done My Turbo Has Started Fluttering And Have Read That This Can Damage My Turbo, What Is Best To Stop This From Happening As Don't Want To Be Funding A New Turbo, Heard Blow Off Valves Can Stop This But Heard This Can Effect The Performance Of The Car Is This True? Any Information Is Much Appreciated.

Are you sure there’s a problem with the turbo fluttering and it’s not just that you can hear it now?
My turbo noise increased massively when I got my revo intake

Maybe upgrade/replace your dv if you think there’s a boost problem

Your turbo was alway fluttering you just couldn't hear it this a characteristic of the k04 turbo on these engines even more so when mapped to stage 1 or 2+ k04 turbos on the s3 are bullet very hard to break one.
Your now getting alot more airflow in as its not as restrictive compared to stock stock.as designed with limitations to keep noise and fuel consumption low.

Revo = more airflow (by product is more and better noises) + more fuel and more power

I ask nicki at r tech when i was up there for a proper stage 1 ( previous owner cocked up with a cowboy map) and i askrd him about compressor surge and how it will affect my car, he said the k04 is a big turbo and its just wants to keep sucking air in more then what you intake will allow. Now a good mapper will keep this to a minimum.and map around this but its unavoidable and not a problem for the k04 turbos

Take the revo off, put stock intake back on and you won’t hear it.

Do not put a ‘blow off valve’ on.

To be honest, if you’re going to modify then expect and accept changes in the way the car sounds and behaves.

So you guys think it will be fine with the flutter and won't cause any harm to my turbo, don't get me wrong it sounds lovely and would love to keep that noise on the car but really don't want to be forking out for new turbo that's why I was needing some advice as I don't really know much about engines and turbos
