What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Finally put the old bus back on the road and all appears to be fine, slightly smoother drive if anything.
Veemanns look brill so glad I kept them now.
Gave it a wash and tidy up this evening and its almost half decent again.

happy days for now.:icon thumright:

Nice work Rob! love it when money/time gets saved.
Forgot to mention I've got new MOT (just over 5km last year - my lowest in a car for the last 17 years) & oil change + basic service so she's feeling happy with herself.

Changed one of my fuel pipes to the filter. It had started leaking badly and dripping onto the exhaust, not good.
Every time I change my fuel filter, probably too often (yearly) the pipe was getting harder and harder to seal.
The other side could do with doing too, but it's not leaking for now.

Also picked up 2 second hand steering knuckle legs from a scrapper. Just incase the inevitable happens.

Allways good to share piccy's and since the old bus is back on form it seemed only fair to add one.
I may moan about it when it's misbehaving (which has been a lot recently) but on the whole it is a good old thing really.

Also invented this tool to adjust the ride hight as after the spacers the tires are scratching the fenders, works like a charm. Thank you YouTube.

Sneak peak (just for Mr Burrows)...
Looks awesome mate well done, i was going to do my bumper inserts in the mesh but the intercooler piping already sits up against them so I thought id give it a miss.

Still waiting on these wheels of yours though!

Glad it's sorted for now Rob.
I like the way that you took her to the cemetery though to show what lies ahead if she keeps misbehaving.
Clever move. :thumbs up:

I've seen a couple of people who's intercooler duct isn't connected to the intercooler the way mine is, it's screw/push-fitted in place, theirs just pulls right out with the foglight surround?? however i'm finding little clues about the history of my car as I do things (naughty 2nd hand car salesmen.. who knew they were a dishonest bunch eh?!)

All new alloys all round then..:yahoo::yes:

The thing with a new set of alloys for me is that it's like decorating, a new coat of paint or new furniture gives a new lease of life, a fresh new look to something and that how it is for my old bus, a fresh new look.:icon thumright:

After a test fit, I'll be on the lookout for either spacers or alloys...

Probably go for the maxton one mate they seem to be the way to go (assuming you mean the roof spoiler) something i did find out recently thats i thought was cool is the rs4 rear diffuser fits on the s line bumper now we got are custom ones seems to be pointless but still a good idea an gives the option to have the big ol ovals which are damn sexy.

Ricky , who told you the rear diffuser on the rs4 fits the s-line bumper.

It wont as its part of the bumper itself, sorry to be a party pooper.

I have about 1mm gap at the closest point after some creative fitting.

Cheers guys, I'll be needing longer wheel bolts too so may as well fork out for a new kit.

It may well fit if you cut the valance section out then fabricated back into an S-line bumper , but that said its a lot deeper aswell so never going to be a straight forward retro fit.

Any idea on thickness chap, surely cant be a great deal , 5mm to 8mm at the most, you can get 3mm H&R ones aswell that will use your oem bolts.

Would probably be fine with 5mm if you have a pair to spare and longer bolts. PM me a price if so :)

It'd almost be easier to ****** around with the sline diffuser part that's removable and adjust that to suit the RS style tips (and yes Ricky - they are the balls)

As a rookie here - is there potential for the brakes expanding when at high temp?

given the size and thickness of 18z's I doubt it would change size unless you hit it with a sledge hammer..lol
