How do I know what type of chassis my A4 is?

It’s a B9. Door mirror mounts are a dead giveaway, as they’re mounted on the door skin rather than the leading corner of the frame.
Is that definitely I was going by the above link B9 isn’t mentioned it’s 2016 that’s what was throwing me. Cheers
Just checked the log book and it says B8 I was told when I got it, it was the new shape
The new shape in 2016 was the B9. If you compare your mirror arrangement with pictures of mine (which is a 2015 B8 and one of the very last ones built before the factory stopped accepting orders) you can see the different mounting points. I don’t know why your document says what it says but the car in your picture is a B9.
