So I've just bought a Volcano Red A3 and am curious as to how rare/common the colour is? I see 8P's almost daily, but I have NEVER seen the Volcano Red colour, does anyone on here own one in this colour?

Honestly, I am not big on red color cars but this looks sharp !! (I guess nicely kept paint and good lighting help ;-)

I agree, it's probably quite rare, I don't recall seeing many around Vancouver BC Canada.

Keep taking care of such good looking car ;-)

Seen some in The Netherlands though, but not as shiny as this one. As the post above me, keep on waxing that thing, it's looking good :).

3 around my area 8p3 in that colour, one that’s in the family

I'm glad I decided to look back at this thread, my e-mail notifications failed to notify me.
Glad to know my car has a twin! (Except for the wheels obviously)

There's a couple of guys up here that have good reps. Will go down to who i feel most comfortable with after talking to them. Hoping they both have rolling roads as would like to see the data also. Not really interested in egr or other deletes unless needed.
Anybody care to suggest what questions i should be asking ?

Finally got the tdi remapped.
Well after much deliberation and input from the boss we, yes we, decided that a cheaper option was probably more advisable during the current climate. So the car has been remapped by a guy in Annan using Quantum. He's not a franchise but has been for the training and uses their technology and has been for years. Came recommended from someone i know. All in all a (so far) pleasant experience. Only thing i had to concede was no rolling road.
What a difference...... just keeps pulling in all gears and is very responsive. Oh and the start stop works properly again
