Washer Jet Upgrade Shims

Anyone know where I can source the shims needed for the windscreen washer retrofit? I have the new spray jets but can't find the shims needed to fit them anywhere in the UK!

I got mine from Brotek here in Scotland, I got the jets and shims in a kit so I'm not sure if they sell the shims only, worth having a look.

shim are discontinued hence why not available as a single part.
I have a pair sitting in my desk though.

I got mine from ECS Tuning.

I used google and searched for vw 8E0955431 since it's a VW part.

Yeah looks like they sell it as a pack, if I can't find the shims I'll just get these, thanks!

Looks like they do have it, but I imagine delivery from a US website would be a nightmare, I'll have a look in any case, cheers. I've extensively searched for 8E0955431 but can't find anything in the UK.

The jets I've bought aren't OE, but were from a link on, from the bay of E. Supposed to be an improvement.

They sell them at TPS i bought mine a few months ago 1 was on the shelf the other was ordered in the next day literally cost like a couple quid.

I know this thread is a few years old now, but i'm looking for the shims and wondered if anyone had bought them recently from anywhere in the UK?

Or if someone has a pair and would provide me some dimensions I could get some printed up.

Seems that they're a pain to find now that we are outside the EU with shipping costs to the UK for something which should be a few £.

I enquired about these last year. Crewe Audi said they could still get them but were silly money so I didn’t bother in the end

I actually found them on a polish site, so i've ordered a couple. If you still need some I can let you know what they're like when they arrive. They've been dispatched today so fingers crossed. They were £10 which was ok with delivery.

I don't know if my 56 plate S Line has heated jets.
Are they a direct fit etc? I'm not quite sure what they are, do they replace the jet set up with a better spreading fan type set up?
I is stumped lol

The originals and the stream type jets with 2 streams on each washer. The upgrade is to change them to the fan type.

If you have the heated versions, you will have a wire running to the jet as well as the water supply.

The shims allow for the fan type washer jets to fit in the hole of the b7 bonnet as they’re bigger.

The part no. of the fan type are a vw vag part and can work on the b7.

Jet shims - 8E0955431 or 4F0955431

All available through TPS or dealer

Anybody find that the washer fluid only makes it about a third of the way up the windscreen ?! It doesn't seem to have enough 'oomph' to get it any further !
Is there a more powerful pump ?
