I’ve always been a hot hatch guy myself,was a bit of an adjustment when I got the RSQ3,but I wouldn’t go back now if I’m honest. This car is perfect for me. Fair play to you tho,it’d be boring if we all liked the same things.

Do you still have the wind deflectors for sale ?
 
Mine is about to get Kinetix drilled rear discs and EBC Redstuff pads - masked up the discs up today and gave the hubs a coat of HT silver.

It's on their site I see Naylor92....I'd have sold it too! Love the colour - but no Bose or Tech Pack...deal breakers for me.

Stuff is priced fairly realistically on that web site, did they hit you hard for the trade-in?

I have to agree, should be a standard spec on a car of that value.....typical Audi loading the price with extras!
I was tempted with a floret silver performance model at Leeds Audi but that has no tech pack or Bose......the salesman said the standard speakers were really good though lol.
Derby Audi have my perfect one in....typical :sob:

Yeah I’ve dealt with them for a fair few years now and have a good relationship with them! There’s is better than mine I suspect haha! Lovely blokes Matthew and Graham are, always an absolute pleasure to deal with.

They gave me a good price and a good price on the RS3 too. I wasn’t too fussed about not having those bits anyway as I made up for it with having all the bits done to the exhaust (valve controller, secondary decats and fully modded by PCW)!

Yeah they are really good actually, I can vouch for that. There wasn’t much difference between that and my now RS3. Haha Derby Audi is my closest dealership!

All credit to Vastec, the VAG independent here in Warwick - did a nice job of cleaning the brake backplates and calipers when they did the installation, looks like new.

Hateful job spraying the hubs, although yours wouldn’t of been to bad as they weren’t fitted yet. Would you tell your insurance company about such a change?

Thanks - machine polished it a couple of weeks ago...Autoglym Resin Polish...nothing fancy and this is under LED tubes so an unforgiving light source too.

My brakes don't really need doing just now, (under10K) But Im buying the full backs same as you , And the front pads to match, To put on in a couple of months, The down side is once I buy stuff to put on I normally swop my car ?? LoL. and im looking at a S8 plus, @ Birmingham £46K 16 plate, 20,000 miles, May not buy the brake parts at the Mo, ha ha.

The Audi A8 models are the most rapidly depreciating Audi you can buy - they shed money at an unbelievable rate, shame as they are a pretty fine vehicle and usually the flagship for technology and gizmos.

Any one have a tow bar on a RSQ3 ? What sort of weight would they tow ??
 
All bought and on the way to me, Once I have good space in my garage Ill get rear disc,s & front and back pads on, Then a full detail, >> This is when the awful lockdown calms down .

Got mine today, All painted in Silver as they came, Ive ordered the same silver paint as you John, But do they need painting again ???
 
Yes, based on prior experience with the 1st RSQ3 the silver coating on the rear disc hubs isn't as thick as I'd like and after a couple of years spots of rust were jsut starting to appear...so a case of getting it whilst its easy to make a perfect job...so yes I'd say get it done. It uses up another couple of hours of lock-down too!
