Hi guys,

I think there may have been a thread many moons ago like this.

But would everyone like to post up your engine bay pictures. I’m looking for ideas on tidying up mine, trying the shaved look. Almost impossible with our cars admittedly they are basically a rats nest of wires and pipes.

I’ll start off with mine, which I posted up in “what have you done today” thread.

Love that your car looked nearly after the big turbo build PT I’m very tempted to keep the OEM appearance you had.

The 3.2 sits very nicely in there, plenty of room for that tubby! very neat cabling and pipework.

Mine is pretty much standard apart from the filter. Nice and tidy though.

Very nice chap! I was kind of aiming at the S3 8L owners but thank you for your contribution. We should all stop messing around with our old cars and get one like yours

I've personally never like the engine cover on mine when I first bought the car last year..probably because my car was a fixer upper when I bought it. But after seeing your guys shiny covers i may also go down the route of sourcing new covers

Haha you don’t have to worry about that I’m no good either side of the camera lens, honestly do not know why it turns side ways when I upload it it’s not like that on my camera roll

Technically not my own engine bay but it’s my engine being test fitted in an 8L S3 parts car.

It has an Iroz 575 kit on it with borgwarner efr7163, it’s a fully built engine done by race developments.

It was 560 in the ttrs it came from, our fuel is lower octane so no way it’s going to make that. I’d be happy with anything over 500

My sons Mexico Blue S3 from South Africa. We just finished the R32 conversion. Everything done as close to OEM as possible.
