Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where to get an electrical wiring diagram of the REAR-doors of a sportback 8v?
I really want to retrofit central-door-locking- switch (there not standard in the Netherlands) but can't find it anywhere , since I don't have creditcard ErWin Audi is not really an option.

Cheers Be Safe

Central door locking switch as in rears arent centrally locked or your driver's door doesn't have the lock out or one button to lock all doors, clarity needed please.

Ok sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words:

this is what I have in the front doors:

this is what I have in the back/rear doors at this moment:

this is what i want in the rears:

or maybe the same switches as I have in the front, that's depending on the wiring and or the door module...

Is this what you're looking for? In the diagram, E717 is the switch and J926 is the door module. It's for the driver side rear door, but passenger side is the same. You should also be sure your rear doors have door modules (some A3s have modules only in front doors), otherwise there's no connection for lock switches.

Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a lot. I presume E711 is the window-open/close switch? And yes I do have the door modules, because I successfully completed Oem ambient light in each door, including dimming via mmi which caused me learning a lot about door modules;)

Interesting request as never seen that on rear doors as it has always been a driver's door feature.

USA and related market vehicles have this as standard I believe. Legislation dictates that every person must be able to unlock the car from the inside or something like that...

What do you guys think? Does the lock/unlock-will work? (First picture)
Or just the “lock-switch “ (third picture)? Like in some countries equipped...
I might just test it

I also assume it’s some kind of regulation thing

all versions are available so they all must work however what are you trying to achieve? Personally I don't see the point of a switch which only locks so would be looking for the lock / unlock.

Yes. E711 is the window regulator motor switch. I asked about the door modules because my car had none so I had to connect puddle, warning and door handle lights directly to the BCM. It works but required a lot of wiring and coding.

I changed the interior to electric adjustable alcantara leather seats and doorcards making it a little more “luxury”car. All the rest of the interior leds were already factory fitted, also installed ambient lights and brought the back b&o grills alive. Now it became bit white shine in the back. So I thought putting some red accents in the back , together with the yet still missing auxiliary 12v socket en vents wheel lights. Just got a bit too much time these days Sadly enough

You can use switch from front doors too if you want to have lock/unlock instead of lock . Work both too with the same wiring
Switch connector:
Pin1--> goes to ground
Pin2 --> goes to pin 10 door module
Pin3--> goes to illumination
Pin4--> goes to pin 11 door module

Of course after installation you have to recode all doors with vcds for lock switch

Alright, was already started with making a wire , got one switch from the front so I can test it. Should be no problem.
