After some advice i have got a set of Audi TT Comps 17" off an old A4 i was breaking and i really want to put them on my 2002 Audi A3 (8L) when i line them up they don't fit or match so i need some spacers i am guessing? or is there another way to fit them without?

Could someone advise me on what ones to get or how to make them fit?

The car is a standard non lowered A3 1.9 TDI Sport i literally just want to fit the wheels without them sticking out too much if that is possible? also what bolts i need i am a bit lost on all this spacers stuff and i can't seem to find any simpletons advice on how to make them fit.
Thanks in advance.

A4 is a different PCD to the A3... A4 is 5x112 and the A3 is 5x100

The only way to get them to fit realistically is to use PCD adaptors but these aren't cheap so unless you reeeeeealy want these wheels fitted you would be better off finding some other to use...

A4 wheels tend to be a much different offset too so you will need to balance the spacer size to make sude they fit without hitting anything

My wife will be happy to know you've just saved me some money as I've also been looking at these rims for a while but haven't found a decent set. (Although if they come off a tt instead of an a4 would they fit)

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy 15mm Spacers and see what happens they are originally off a TT the set i have got the previous owner of the A4 somehow obtained a few TT parts and used them in the A4 .
They are such a nice looking wheel when fitted to the A3 8L i think i have to know :)
