Have a MK2 TT it starts the cuts out after 2 seconds, read codes says engine blocked by immobiliser and key fault, had someone out to reprogram keys and they said everything is programmed okay, I’m losing my mind can’t figure out what the issue is any help please ?

Did the auto locksmith connect to the car and verify the keys were being seen and were correct?. Has the car been standing?, what is the state of the battery?. Maybe disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so and see if that helps.
