Does a PFL always pop on start up

Same reason it doesn't always pop when you rev it.
The car doesn't start up in dynamic so the tone will change when you scroll through the modes.

If it's a cold start it doesn't pop, but should pop on start-up when warm (when you restart after driving it etc).
I don't think selecting dynamic before starting actually puts it in dynamic.
I don't get the post earlier either saying it doesn't pop when cold. It 100% pops more when it's cold. It's bound to when it's over fuelling.

Cold start, not just when it’s cold.
Can’t remember as it’s been a while lol, but don’t remember it popping when on a cold start program, but it usually does on normal start.
When the car starts up from what it deems cold, so first start of the day for instance.
That time where the revs stay high for a minute or so, and the annoying feeling of pressing the throttle where the revs rise but the car doesn’t pull!
Then after that first minute it’s all normal again.
