Well, I've had my Sepang 65 plate rs3 just over 2 years and loved every minute. I just happened to call into my local BMW dealer on Friday and they had an M135i in the grey I really like. Has all 3 packs, sunroof, plus new style alloys.

They called Monday to say they were closing at the end of Tuesday due to covid-19. Got a decent px at first plus 6k off list. Then an extra 1k on px.

To cut a long story short, I'm now running the M135i, what a car. The features and tech are amazing. Booking a ceramic coating next.

I just couldn't be bothered waiting for the new s3/rs3, so this fits the bill.

I'll stay lurking on the forum....

Definitely a step on tech I bet but hoes the power and delivery compared to the RS3 and also handling with it being FWD?

if it didnt have that front end it would be a lovely looking car, still dont know what BMW were thinking?

Hi.
The colour is called storm bay metallic. The M135i is 4wd, another reason I bought it. 0 to 62 is quoted at 4.8 but I've only had the car a day and only done 30 miles.
The front grille has grown on me.

Ah nice, 4WD and that should be more than enough power for our UK roads.

The new one looks better in the flesh than in photos so thumbs up from me. I had a 2016 m-lite and loved it before moving ‘to the dark side’ of an S3 then latterly RS3. Love the colour and the tech, enjoy!!

How you finding the sound? Journalists have been quite critical of the noise and as you’ve come from the loudest hatchback of them all, how you finding that side of things?

Only a day in but the exhaust does sound raspy in sport mode.

I don't think it will ever be on a par with my pfl rs3 and its sports exhaust, that was a fantastic noise. I will miss it but the bmw is a new chapter as I've never owned one.

The new 135 is OK but I do have one issue with it and that is there is a 118d around the corner and it looks exactly the same as that apart from the colour. The halo car has nothing to differentiate it from the cooking models.

Sad to see a defector. There isn’t a really bad German car but I suspect you will soon realise BMW are **** in comparison to Audi, even though better than M-B...all in my opinion of course.

I may well return to audi at some point, or any other marque for that matter.

Congrats on the new car, and I’m sure your enjoying it. The Motech version that I’ve seen on Instagram certainly spices them up! Enjoy :icon thumright:

I didn’t say you needed to justify anything to me did I now! So many people jump to a decision they will probably live to regret on all counts.

Having had 2 RS3’s of which my last one was a Sepang blue.
I moved back to a golf R,
Would I have another Audi? Possibly but not with the current line up.
Hope you enjoy your new car, a change is sometimes what’s needed.

If the a3 launch hadn't been delayed I might have waited to see how the new s3 looked. I did fancy a change though, and the M135i was in the showroom calling me! Timing spot on as well now everyone has shutdown.

audi upgrades
I think it looks nice and aggressive from the back but I’m less convinced about the front. I’m sure it’s a lovely car to drive though. Enjoy!
