Just picked up a Q5 before xmas. Seemed tidy enough until I got it home and it threw the crank pulley out. The dealer agreed for awesome to do it so now all good. Stage 1 Apr map in it now and have used vag to get the drive select on.
Will be adding an rs grill and some other bits on soon.
Still got the A5 & the A4 avant as well

I assume the grille is aftermarket, as there isn't an RS Q5 to borrow one from?
 
Yea mate I will report as to how it goes. I know my A5 one was easy but one I got for my A4 cab years ago was a pig and had to be altered

Let us know which grill you go for. Plenty on eBay and prices vary, so I am intrigued to hear your story
