Are the brake dust shields needed? Do they keep that much road dust out ?

Good at keeping stones out! I would always have these fitted

I was thinking that ****** £50 each for the fronts the rears are only £12 each what I thought the front would be. Was hoping to get the new discs n pads fitted this weekend but will have to wait till these come now

I've managed to refurb them before but once rot starts there awful

£160 All in but it’s time wise was my main reason for thinking of ditching them

They're not terribly expensive for a new set

Tps with all the nuts bolts disc grub screws it’s 130 the other 30 was for oil it’s the fronts that are the expensive and ebay ones I seen don’t list s3

I know they cost more than the brake pads if they wasn’t going to be here in time for the weekend I would of left them. Hope to get all the brakes fitted and wheels on tomorrow and take the engine out( well make a start on it)
That's a bit expensive for all they are aswell. It's all these wee things that add up and make the build dearer than it could be.

I knew it the ****** things don’t clear the r32 discs because they are bigger! Not a good start to the day
