Hydrogen engine cleaning

Just had hydrogen engine clean performed on my car.

Great offer I got, as for the price of clean I got the fault scan.
Mine came out clear.

Now have to drive the car for a bit, harsher. Higher revs on each gear and good 10-15km motorway drive.

This guy comes to your home or work address and need only electrical socket.
All done in an hour.

Will keep an eye on results in mpg or bhp's

Would love to, Carl but have no space for it.

I am not so convinient i such method. I prefer complete dismantling of the intake manifold and cleaning by hand. I have performed on my car few times, once to eliminate the error with manifold flaps motor, once ordinary cleaning and once when I changed throttle flap.

It won't touch the EGR system and air inlet, also I would not want to ingest the crap that was in my system, it need soaking in pasts washer fluid, screwdrivers and scrubbing brushes to get rid of oil & soot mixture. If that stuff cleans the injectors & cat out a little then great, but it won't do ****** all on the EGR system.

Don’t burn out the crud on a cast manifold with flaps like I did it melts the soft metal bushings

I used caustic soda on my 3.0tdi inlet on the A8 it worked very well.

@B5NUT I am thinking the same, nothing without screwdriver and sone kind of solvent.

@Bbflex good cleaning, like new

@KrisKrk I was afraid same when I had to do it for first time, just prepare the instructions and take your time and there will be no problems.

Slight improvement on mpg noticed.
Before the clean, I could cover under 400miles on the tank, like 390?
Now, managed to get shy over 400miles on regular daily commute, without longer motorway distance trips.

Planning a trip tomorrow further away so will test in motorway and take a snap of trip computer.
