1..you in the wrong forum bud this is for 8p models so youll probably have better luck in the 8v forums,
And
2 which is optional as its.my two pence you have guad exhaust 2 are normal and the other 2 are valved you normal ones would.carbon up quicker as your daily use which would explain it as i see.this on loads of 8Vs S3's
And if u leave you car on sport those other 2 valves will.open (one on each side) and they will.eventualy catch up in carbonisation

Cheers pal. I'm new to this couldnt find the s3 8v lol. I've had the flaps turned permanently open through an obdeleven. The other three tips are all carbonated . Weird one mate

If you've had the valves opened permanently then I would say you have a faulty valve on that side where you are not getting any carbon.

Cheers pal thinking that. Or electrical. Had res delete Still sounds the same and bangs like mad when in dynamic lol. Proper weird

That happened once to me when coding valves out with VCDS, for some reason the same one had stayed closed.

I just reenabled them made sure both were open and disabled again, all was fine after that.

How did you do that pal. Apologies for sounding stupid. Reenabled?

Now here's a coincidence......I parked up in my local Asda today and while walking to the shop I seen another S3 Saloon which I looked closely at on the way past. It was an 8V but had a personal plate so I didn't know what age it was....and also it wasn't a black edition.
Anyway to the point of my post.....all 4 exhaust tips were dirty but the 2 inside ones were noticeably more so, in fact they were black"
I thought to myself....this guy does not bother to clean his exhaust tips when he washes his car. :D

It doesn't matter as 8p or 8v is still very similar.. I've seen this your question matter already long time ago and was telling my self that quad exhaust is just for the look.. Two and bigger (like rs has) would be completely enough

Just went into VCDS and ticked the option, then put the car into Sport again and made sure they were all open, then unticked the option and they remained open.
