Hi I’m new to the forums, I think I’ve posted it in the correct section.
I ordered an Audi A3 sportback back in November sort of time.
It’s build week was 10th February and was completed by the 12th and arrived at the port on the 14th.
From there it was meant to take 10 working days to be put on a ship and sent over.
Where the Audi tracking site isn’t working for me I’ve had to message Audi on Twitter a number of times asking for an update instead of simply logging in and checking.
It’s now been over 3 weeks and the car is still at the port and was told to come back this Friday for an update.
The reason for delay is due to weather conditions but by the end of this week it would of been sitting at the port for a month.
Is anyone in the same situation or have an idea as to when it could be on it’s way?
Thanks

Have you used the online tracker for your car? I found that to be accurate.

My RS3 was built on 10th February, but took until 20th Feb to show as arrived at Emden. Somewhat unexpectedly it then showed as arrived in the UK on 4th March. Dealer now waiting to hear when it will be transported to them.

Based on reading delivery timelines for cars in this forum there appears to be no logic to how long a car may wait at Emden. Sorry.

I had a car stuck at Emden for over 5 weeks. It turned up at the dealers damaged and was promptly rejected. New car was ordered and that was only at Emden for a few days.

I’ve tried the online tracker but ever since the order was confirmed I always get a “no order was found” error. I’ve had to message Audi support every so often for an update and they’re good and responsive.
I got an update from the lease company saying they should still get it on the 16th March but will have to wait and see and it still needs to be transported to them.
Fingers crossed the weather is now fine and it doesn’t turn up damaged if not it’ll be rejected as well haha.

mine was build week 5, 26th jan. it arrived at Emden and sat there for a month, as they have normally completed its build by the build start date, i took delivery on the 1st of march. Due to the storms, i was told trains arriving at emden would empty straight onto the ships, i was very lucky as my car must of been pulled for shipping the day b4 Audi DE announced this.
Which dealership did you order from, i went onto marinetraffic and as id ordered Grimsby, i checked ships leaving Emden

believe it’s based in Swindon, I was told by the end of week 2 of being at the port they’d make it a priority to get it in a ship but still nothing. Now waiting till Friday before I contact them again. Other than itstill being at the port I’ve have very little info from Audi.

I ordered an A6 end of Jan but sounds like I was lucky, it was built 24th Feb and only in Emden a day or so and has been in the UK for a week but now at dealers.

Not 100% sure, but id imagine your car will travel on a ship from Emden to Sheerness. The Danube Highway is due in tomorrow, and the Malacca Highway on Saturday. Hopfully your car will be on one of these. Have you read the Pinned post on Track your new Audi. the tracker might not work fully if its a lease car, i think it needs the lease company postcode, im sure i read.

Just spoke to the lease company as the updates I get from them are automated weekly emails and this week it still showed as arriving to them on Monday. They’ve said there has been a backlog at the port due to the weather and don’t see it arriving this month. Great news
