I know this subject comes up a lot and I struggled to find some good posts on the subject so I thought I would share some details, thoughts and photos on the wrapping of the chrome.
As you know my car come with the chrome window surrounds, mirrors and grill as I didn’t go for the sport edition simply because it was £5k more for a number of options I didn’t actually want. So. I needed a solution and the only one that would work was getting it professionally wrapped. I used kJ wraps in thatcham and they were excellent, they would need the car for a day and it was £430.
I was amazed at how good it looked when I picked it up, I was a little sceptical at first but I really didn’t need to be as the finish was amazing. It totally transformed the car and unless you are really looking for it you cannot tell it’s been done, people that I have shown the car and not mentioned it thought it came from the factory like it.
Anyway here are some pics, I don’t think the photos do it justice (photo 5 seems to have come out wrong) so if anyone wants better images drop me a pm.
