After 5 months of ownership im wanting to de-chrome the S5. Up in cumbria i wouldnt know anywhere that could do a wrap on the chrome areas. Can anybody suggest places up north to get a dechrome done. Dont mind a run out if its a professional job and a reasonable price

Appreciate it

Did you ever get this done? How did it look?

Had it done to mine last year and this is the result

So so much better without the chrome, with the idea of me getting an S5 still in my mind I'd be looking at dechroming mine for sure.

The black one looks awesome dechromed with an rs5 grille too

Not sure if you ever got the De-chrome sorted... but if your still looking check out Auto-Skins on Instagram. They're based in Darlington, Co Durham.

They did my de-chrome on my A5 last year and was really happy with the results - Pic below.

I've been quoted £300 for the window de-chrome, does that sound about right?

Seems a little steep but not absurd. I paid £480 for the window surrounds, rear diffuser, door handles, and the front and rear chrome strips

Thats way too much. Got mine done at a place in the north east (custom coats) can find them easy enough on social media. £350 for every bit of chrome on the car wrapped apart from the audi rings. Had one area peeling off a tiny bit but sorted it myself, on the whole a really professional job totally changes the car
