Hi All

Just wondering if there was any recommendations out there for Tuners for Big Turbo conversions in the South East of England.

I've seen lots of work being done in Scotland by DH Automotive and Ecotune, just trying to find a trusted engineers to start doing some work on my RS3

Thanks
J

1- MRC Banbury and 2) QST in Haywards Heath.

I am a remap dealer for JF Automotive, they have a 4wd rolling road so they can custom tune cars.

What tuning box have you got TX? Would like to get a warranty friendly one for my RS...
It is / was the JFA one. Not got the car now, had the box removed before I sold it.

TX.

The JFA box is not warranty friendly unless you take it off (including the loom) before taking it in to Audi, i used to take mine off when it went in, very easy to do, you get a plug in jumper to cut out the box but any Audi tech would notice the foreign loom.

I want one for my RS3 but they have not yet produced one the the late 19 model.

Just checking with QST as it doesn't look like MTM are making one for the latest RS3 either....

I’m booked in for a REVO stage 1 remap at AP Tuning near Norwich on Tuesday for my 2019 GPF car, looking forward to it and sounds like the software update really brings the GPF car to life...not that it’s no slouch!

Nice one! Hope you will post your results? :). Warranty be damned hey? I'm thinking I may do the same.
Yes mate, warranty always a concern but hey you’ve got to enjoy these things and in this day and age the tunes are so good and within engine limits that hopefully no bother.

Not chasing numbers and not bothering with a dyno, should be around +50-60bhp and +115nm but it’s how it drives and living with it on a day to day basis that I’m interested in, their test car seems to have really improved significantly after the tune.

Looking forward to it and will post up my thoughts after a few days.

Rik - does this mean you intend to keeping the car long term? i.e. not worried if it gets TD1 (or whatever) flagged by Audi? Or just said to yourself ' to hell with it':respekt:

Yep to hell with it really! I won’t be going any further than stage 1 and just hopeful they’ll never be any issues, if push comes to shove I’ve got funds to sort anything out...just want to enjoy it and won’t be the first to do the same or more to their cars within warranty.

Good lad, that's the spirit!
I know you told me you haven't noticed any issues with the gearbox ratios and changes but it will be interesting to see if the tune makes the gearbox more user friendly in D - I've read a few who said it does help. As you know I'm tempted to remap it as the standard ratios in D spoil the driving experience for me.....especially 1st to 2nd at 3mph...

Look forward to your feedback.:thumbs up:

Cheers mate.

I’m not having any TCU tune so not sure how it will affect the gear changes but yeah no issues with the changes on mine and hopefully the changes are still smooth and quick after the tune.

Will post up feedback after a few day’s once I’ve run the tune :icon thumright:

You’ll love it. Had Revo stage 1 on my TTRS. It’s quite a smooth, linear map and not as aggressive as the MRC map I had on my PFL RS3. When I had it taken off for a service at Audi I couldn’t wait to get it back on!

Cheers mate, that’s what drew me to it and that REVO weren’t really chasing big numbers and developed it to live with every day but giving enough performance increase to unleash the potential, glad to hear your experience was similar.

Cant wait for Tuesday!
