Hey guys,

My folks have just bought a '07 A4 B7 2.0T as a replacement for their written off B6 S4.

The S4 had electric memory seats, and they would like to swap these into the B7 which currently just has the normal manual seats.

Does anyone know how easy this is? Any good guides kicking around?

We still have the S4 sat on the drive, so should have everything we need in terms of modules and wiring and whatnot. Just need to see whats required!

B6 Recaro seats are not 100% the same as B7 recaro’s due to the B7 having side airbags etc , you will need to do some mods for them to work. they will fit ok .
Depending on what wiring the B7 has will dictate how much of the b6 setup will need to be swapped over.

I'll need to have a closer look at the wiring and see.

The B6 Seats are not recaros i dont think, just normal B6 sport seats in black leather. Theres something a bit different about them though. I think it was an Audi Exclusive interior.

The B7 has the two tone leather seats that were part of the SLine Special Edition models.

My B5 has side airbags, so it seems odd that the B6 S4 wouldnt?!

Any pointers on a decent guide would be appreciated.

It will need wiring added to the floorpan & door given the switches.
