Hi all,

Quick question.

Are the Golf R and S3 exhaust systems exactly the same? I’m after a resonator and the only ones I can find are off a Golf R.

Me too but he has a FL car so might not fit?

No difference in FL and PFL exhaust system up to 2019......2020 has an emission change but should not affect fitting a resonator that has been cut and removed and a resonator removal pipe fitted on all 2015 -2020 S3.
The only issue may be the overall length of a cut out resonator, if you are trying to fit a resonator to an S3 that has a resonator delete pipe.

As mentioned above it will fit FL. But yes depends on length of resonator cut out. Are you able to measure your res delete pipe?
