Phil3 your right there mate. Tried a few but really rate the gtechniq one. I had a synthetic lambs wool one but found the bigger bits of debris use to stick to it like the proverbial to the blanket, quite tricky to keep debris free.

Incredimitt far better quality than the gtechniq mitt and it's denser and larger mate

Best way to get the full engine noise effect and it was cold but sunny yesterday.

This is one of the reasons I went with Floret Silver, its easy to keep clean.

Recently did just a snow foam and rinse and it came up really nice, Swissvax Shield wax working great. Wheels took a bit of work with cleaner and brush but cleaned up well.

Do a better job in the first place. If you're missing bits, you're ****!

Daytona is no harder to wash than any other, and shows way less dirt. OP it sounds more like improper wash technique to me.

Clean wheels with Wheel cleaner and assorted brushes
Foam with Bilt Hamber foam and let dwell, take detailing trust to badges, grille and crevices
Rinse thoroughly
2 Bucket wash with any decent shampoo and a chenille (noodle) wash mitt or quality microfibre wash mit.
Rinse thoroughly
Dry with a plush drying towel

Stand back and admire

I'm on my second Daytona A4.
Hands down easiest to clean and look clean for longer even when it's bogging..

This is my second car in Daytona grey & i don't find it any harder to keep clean. One of the best colours around & Grey cars are now the biggest selling colour.

Gave mine a polish this week because it needed coating.

The problem with Daytona Grey is that when you get it clean enough it becomes nearly invisible to other road users :)

And a gratuitous beading shot :). Got to love that pearl magnified in the droplets!

Sorry mate, it's been raining non stop since I got it last October - not had a chance for some proper pics. If there is anything specific you want photos of though I'd be happy to snap some for you.

That's because its almost the same colour as most road surfaces lol

That was my point, but thank you captain obvious :)
