Opinions on Wrap Colour

if it helps, when I was with Admiral and got the first wrap, I phoned and asked prior to the wrap and they said it was not a modification but simply classed as a colour change which they update on their record for the car, not the policy, so I did not even have an admin fee to pay and no increase on premium.
I am now with Brentacre with a modified policy which there is no admin fees anyway, but they seemed to treat it the same way.
Thanks I am currently with Admiral, and in a predicament with my insurance tbh! My insurance expires on 10th March, I have a quote valid from 17th Feb for £750 but if I run a quote for anywhen after this it shoots up to £3200!!!! I don't understand it. That's not adding the wrap as a mod, just a standard car, only the dates chnaged for the price.

oh phone admiral back!
I had the same last year, I went to adrian flux and knocked off 100, then Brentacre knocking a bit more (and back and forth a few times) till I was back down to 500 which although allot more than my old stage 2 A4, was not awful given the insurance group and the compare the market prices of a few k on a modified car..
I accepted a new policy else where and phoned admiral to cancel and they beat them again! said I should always phone them as he reckoned they would always beat my cheapest quote.. but it was too late by then as I was too lazy to phone about again lol

It's interesting with the insurance, Post Office point blank refused to cover me and said if I had it done they would void my insurance there and then, Adrian Flux were more than happy to insure me and again couldn't understand, it wasn't remapped, heavily modified etc.

Defo agree with Meemo too, it's about who you use and the service. When my first wrap was damaged I went down and was gutted, Andy then worked his magic and fixed it for me there and then.

Commercial vehicles are wrapped all the time, surely they don't have the same issues.

Its mental how just the date changes things! Will be giving various places a ring tomorrow. Brentacre want £1.7k which is still a bit steep and will call admiral to ask for a renewal price :) hopefully if I quote that they've already offered me £800 to start Sunday they can change it to start when it actually needs to!

Insurance sorted, not a problem with admiral which is good! Now just need to source some samples! Really liking the look of the AD stuff, cool teal looks awesome but that orange might be better!
Can't be sure till I can see it, so that's the current issue!

If anything it looks worse lol, my step dads got a white one with black wheels and that doesn’t look that bad, I kinda like it

That does look better but I do think they are poorly styled inside and out. Cant understand the appeal but each to their own! Nice S3!

Yeah they are a bit bland, more boring inside but still not a bad place to be, better than my van .
Cheers mate, did think it looked especially aggressive next to the tesla

Not a fan of the teal personally, looks way too much like the new flagship 3 series colour. Gotta be that orange for me!

Colours arrived! No. 1 is the 3M gloss orange and No.2 is the Avery Dennison Satin Metallic Stunning Orange!

Upload quality limits things but the orange peel effect is pretty noticeable on the 3M! The AD is a bronzey sort of colour, shines brilliant.

Need to check them in the sunlight tomorrow but think the AD is going to win!

Love that second colour, really does need that second hue on a satin wrap.
Just to throw a spanner in the works, if you are not sold on it (though I do not see why you wouldn't be)..
Teckwrap do their own version which I think is a bit more bronzee, called wild orange matte.

Yeah need to see it in the sunlight but is likely what I'll go for. That one you recommended does look good though, not sure if it has the same shine as the AD does though!

Not even a comparison for me, the AD one is leaps and bounds above.

Defo needs a dechrome too go with the colour scheme though ;)

Car is already dechromed, but the window surrounds and spoiler are being re-done.

Some more pics in different lights. Pretty sure it's gonna be this colour

gonna look cool AF :p
Now all we need is it to be done by April 19th (Simply Audi at Beauleui), and the three of us can rep the stand out satin wrap club for Audi-Sport haha

Nooooooooo! I'm picking my car up on the Monday 20th April I'm away with work so thought it made sense to get the wrap done when I don't need the car. Plus meant I could get it done sooner.

I don't think I would have the lady balls to ask Jamie to take my car to an event on one of his days off, he is nearly 2 hours away lol
He would probably tell me to F off.. you however he would I am sure.. be far more eloquently worded.

I'm actually in Liverpool that weekend too annoyingly! ahh!

Why are all wraps a sort of chrome colour? They all look bad imo. No offence.

Well they aren't chrome and it's very hard to determine a colour on a photo, just ask Adam & Meemo as they'll tell you by the samples.

Mines' Satin Metallic, defo no chrome anywhere.

Very few chrome wraps about. Most are "gloss or metallic" looking. You then have satin and matte wraps.
Hard to judge colour especially with poor quality uploads on here. Look much better in person.

The ones in this post look a bad kind of shiny. One or two look ok, mainly the purple colour right near the top. Most just look cheap imo, I've seen loads, Adam and meemo don't need to convince me.

First thing I thought mate before seeing your post! Out of those "Gloss Blue Metallic", but if I'm being 100% honest neither! I know you're only a young lad but is it a bit girly?

If it were me I'd go more stealth as in: https://i.redd.it/yo8fuotxye241.jpg

or if you want to stand out:
This looks wicked. I'd have this colour and the orange lambo.
