Looking great, perhaps black badges to complete the look

I would wrap the front vents - without them in black or silver it just looks like a normal Audi from the front.

And you want everyone to get out of your way because they know your a maniac! :)

I wouldn’t say a ‘normal’ Audi but definitely a bit more discreet than some, maybe that’s what the OP liked?

Agree the front could benefit with some gloss black to help break it up though but we all have different tastes!

Still an RS with that sublime 5pot under the bonnet, enjoy.

I think we need to stop telling what owners should and shouldn’t do with the cars based on there own preferences.
As rik has said maybe Scott just wants something that is not in your face but sits nicely in the background until you open its taps.

Exactly......

Not everyone is the ‘look at me’ type of car owner.

Thanks for all the comments, as people have said it’s really down to preference. I don’t think it looks like a standard Audi regardless of the black vents!

I was actually in two minds to wrap the front as it was about £270 plus it’s not the easiest to do. I wanted to see what it looked like first then decide. Also I can actually buy the proper inserts for about £350 which would hold up better to stone chips etc.

I plan to do the badges, just need to order them.

The wheels will be next, the only issue is that mine are 235 all round and all the black turbines seem to be 255 at the front. Are mine the same wheel just a different size? Was just thinking of getting them matched as again they were not an option when ordering.

I do like the way the sport edition looks but didn’t want the roof or seats, all I wanted was black pack and wheels. Plus it was £5k more for me as Audi were not doing the contribution on it.

Anyone know how much the sport edition wheels are to buy? I could then either sell mine or use them as winters.

It’s actually quite fun to mod the car as you eventually get it to look just like you want. Each to their own as they say :)

I’m currently awaiting my standard Nardo RS3.

Like Scott I wanted the black pack and wheels, but nothing else. Wasn’t going to pay another 5k over the deal I got just for the black effect. I’m torn between wrapping the matt aluminium or not. Will wait and see what the car looks like when it finally arrives before reaching a conclusion.

Sounds like you got the same deal as me!

The wrapping looks great, I was really worried it would look like it’s been wrapped but it really doesn’t. I used a place that does it all the time, yes it was a little more but 100% worth it.

Personally think it transforms the car but like everyone said it’s down to personal taste. My wife loves the chrome, she didn’t get a choice :)

I am saying as an RS owner I have had an RS3 behind me without the front in black or chrome and I didn’t even realise it was an RS3... and I look out for them.

It just seems a shame to me to have a special car and not want it to look as good as it could. I have some scratches on my silver bits (I am guessing from someone reversing into me) and I hate them. I haven’t had any luck finding any silver touch up.

This is where everyone’s opinion is different. I personally think chrome on a “special car” looks wrong especially around the windows. But that’s just my opinion.

I would know this was an RS3 if it came up behind me :)

I don’t think you would - having driven my car around for 2 years now all Audi look the same front the front in the back window unless there is noticeable difference; same from the back if its an RS3 which the black finish and black exhausts I can’t tell if its an RS3 or a normal Audi.

Not until really close - everyone has their own opinion - but if your finding people don’t get out of the way when overtaking it’s probably because they don’t realise you have a fast car.

Lovely car OP. Definitely needs that bit of black wrap to the front, mirrors, window trim, etc to look properly aggressive. I for the life of me can't understand who options their car with the chrome aluminum pack unless it's a blue/black car. Makes it look like a fiver..

Can't believe some of these daft comments I'm reading..........
"Makes it look like a Fiver" whats that all about ??

@Scottkcollins has come on here to show how happy he is with his car, yet all he's had are the most child like responses, why ? because he hasn't got a load of black parts on the front of his new car and that means it's not even an RS model :wtf:

Am not talking about Scott’s car.

Show me one rs3 which isn’t blue with the alu/chrome pack which looks good and I’ll withdraw my comment. Until then every single one looks like a fiver imo.

Yes people have their own taste and it’s their car but that doesn’t mean you can’t call them out on an ugly car.

Ugly in your opinion, the Alu/chrome pack wasnt to my taste but it doesnt mean its ugly and i can understand why people prefer it. Its like the other thread on the A45 i dont like the interior but other people do, its no big deal. There is plenty i will do or have done to my cars that other will probably not be into, i couldnt care.

If you are basing your choices on your car on what other people "might think" then you aint doing it right.

Beautiful car, there's always something special about the first week or 2 post collection. I'm coming up for 2y in mine now and still love it - finding it hard to think what I'd change to. I have the alu pack on my (mythos black) car and wrapped the window surrounds too. Looks like the guys that handled the wrapping did an awesome job. Enjoy the break in time with it - mine got a lot more vocal and eager to rev past about 5k miles!

Thanks mate, I think a black car with the alu pack looks great. I like you would have done the windows as well . The wrapping guy was really good, I honestly think you cannot tell unless you are right up close and even then it’s still v good.

Horses for courses but I like this look

Nice and understated, but I know it’ll get all the hate on here as it’s not got black wheels and no black pack

Well I'll just leave it as ETTO but I think that looks horrible. Especially with those a3 wheels on it. But then again I'm sure some people will be against what I think is a proper looking rs3 and how it should've come from the factory. However I also understand some people don't want to drop thousands on wheels, body kits, coil overs, etc to give the car a proper stance and presence on the road.

I get where you're coming from, mate. But everyone has their own taste, and that has to be respected. If you wanna see hideous and ridiculous things done to a beautiful German vehicle, look at what the Yanks think is good taste over at Audizine. Holy mother of god. Some are putting a RevoZsport are kit on their car and making it look like a crap attempt of a WRX. It's absolutely horrendous. And don't get me started on some of the aftermarket wheels some of these guys put on their cars and think it looks amazing.....

But I digress. AS much as I shake my head in disgust at what I think is classless, tacky and gaudy modding, I keep my mouth shut. Cos at the end of the day, it's not my money, it's theirs. And if that's what they like to look at, and it doesn't hurt anyone (beside their eyes and their sensibility), then good luck to them.

Is the first pic your car on CarSales? If so, it looks good and I wish you good luck with the sale. I'm currently selling my Nardo S3 on there at the moment.

Fair call. Didn't mean to upset anyone :p don't get me started on those revozport kits.. absolutely shocking who could put that on their car.

Nah it's not, just one that showed up that I liked the looked of. I've only owned a pfl for a little under a year but did consider potentially moving to a fl sedan recently. There was one "lolamg" plated nardo grey stage 2 car you might've seen with a bullx exhaust on carsales but he was asking too much.. something like 95k after he "dropped" the price. Goodluck with your sale though, had no idea you could option nardo as a paint and thought you meant a wrap till I saw your ad!

Some of the prices people are asking for 2018 RS3's is insane. Not much more and I got a brand new one with exclusive paint...and black pack, of course :smirk:.

You can order any Audi in any colour you like. Everything is a negotiable option. I just don't like driving a car with a colour that everyone with the same model, has. Makes it more interesting and a stand out when you sell, and can sell for a little more than the rest.

Exclusive colours will only be attractive to a much smaller audience.
Just because you have an exclusive colour does not mean it will sell for much more.
Most RS models pretty much have the same options

One things for sure, you will love your car. I look for any excuse to drive mine and am still like a kid in a sweet shop every time I do. It's a wonderful car, enjoy every minute of it!

I agree, a smaller population of buyers will appreciate a rare colour, but clearly you didn't read my post....I said "a little more". Especially a colour like Nardo where so many like it but don't get the choice in the S3 range, unlike mine. So why should they get that colour for free?
