Car won't open with remote. When opening with key only drivers door opens, passenger door won't open at all not even with using interior button. When you put key in ingnition headlights come on dip beam, no control with switch. Vanity lights don't work, courtesy lights and footwell lights not working. Glovebox light dim. Passenger electric window won't open. Any suggestions as to what may have caused this or how to solve it.

Once the car starts do you have the same problems? If yes then it could be something simple like a fuse.

Yes once car is started still same problems . Codes coming up are IMG 2583

Will it need to go to dealers for repairs
I would suggest its a hardware issue given that so many issues have popped up, the component protection error is interesting also as that should not be there. You should visit a dealership or an authorised 3rd party, like myself, in order to investigate further.

I'm in Aberdeenshire So probably need to go to Aberdeen audi

As said already it could be the bcm or it could be something simple like a bad earth somewhere.
Best to get a pro to look at it whether that be a dealer or someone like djalix.
Don’t know anyone in the Aberdeen area but there’s a few in the central belt. Dh auto, a for Audi and some others.

If the vehicle has warranty then book in the Audi, if not then it’s well worth visiting DH Automotive as Dave really knows his stuff + I supply support and remote services to them so may well end up working on the car :)
