Hi, Perhaps I’m being overly fussy but to my eye the fuel flap on my A6 (C7.5) does sit completely flush along its top line. It is closing without issue but could do with a little adjustment (can’t see any) to push the top in a few mm.

Am I alone in this or is it a known issue?

Can’t say I’ve heard of any misalignment issues.

Plenty of problems relating to the lock failing (in the locked position)

I bought my C7 the other month and I came to the same conclusion.
The fuel flap doesn't sit perfectly... Saying that, I also have lock issues so presumeably the previous owner struggled with it too and possibly had a fight with the flap...

Mine is the same. Only had it a month, but it is annoying as it sticks out about 4-5mm. It does close/open normally though.
