After some info, bought lovely 57 reg S3, FSH, Cambelt done and I’ve just done Haldex , 50000 miles, drives faultless, only massive issue I have is water in drivers headlight, passengers fine. Quoted roughly £300 from a breakers as they are halogen, seems a lot for something with little comeback. Can I get reasonable price aftermarkets anywhere straight fit or could I get standard lights, they cost about £100 for decent 2nd hand pair. Any advice would be great

Audi S3 has bixenon headlights, you could fix yours by splitting, cleaning up & resealing quite possibly.

How do you split them please? Willing to try anything it’s ruining the look of the car and assume the water will cause problems soon as it’s too much to dry out even with lights on for hour or more

Put them in the oven and heat them up. You could use a heat gun and start prying it apart but the mastic can reset quickly when the heat goes off. It’s probably easier to purchase a second hand, genuine unit.

As it’s an S3, don’t fit a lesser quality single xenon or anything aftermarket - keep it factory.

You could try EM Tuning as trups does lights and is well respected dor fixing and upgrading your exsiting ones , find him in the site sponsors section hope that helps
