Is there a way to find out the full extent of what my car has/doesn't have?

Newb question, but i'm very new to Audis and many of the features of their cars and still haven't figure out a lot of stuff.

I've very recently purchased a 66 3.0 TDI S Line. It comes with a lot of nice visual features such as Virtual Cockpit and MMI Plus, B&O soundsystem, Technology pack etc, but there's a lot of stuff I don't understand.

I know it comes with Pre Sense, but i'm not totally sure what it does, if I need to activate it etc

It comes with a B&O soundsystem, but can it play lossless files like wavs, flac etc as it seems a waste if not?

Same with Audi Connect, some things work and some things don't seem to.

I've spoken to other Audi owners at work and nobody seems to know much about their cars, much like buying the latest iphone and using it just for calls, texts and a bit of web surfing

It would be useful to know what it has and what it's possible to upgrade to from what is there already. I called a local Audi dealer in Warrington and nobody returned my call, so they didn't seem to be touting for business unless your car is bought from there.

For options etc. You should have a sticker in your book pack. That has a series of codes which are options / features on the car - should help get you started. Otherwise I *think* there is one in the spare tyre well somewhere?

For features of MMI etc. Dig around this sub, or the manual is pinned to the top of the forum which is a treasure trove of how to use features / functions.
Also in-car MMI manual not bad either, under the ‘car’ section.

Ah yes, i've seen some codes, so i'll look into that, thanks. The manual isn't installed. I got a disc, but didn't want to risk playing it in case it backdated a software update. I have got the manual though, but I typically never read them and look for a decent video.

The MyAudi app doesn't work properly for me. Presumably I need an Audi Partner to update the owner of the vehicle. I have found the Optional Equipment bit though, so thanks for that.

Disappointingly it doesn't seem to have any addition driver aids like Lane assist, traffic sign recognition and so forth

Really happy that i've found a thread about flac files too. Seems it does play them from a stick or card, so i'm made up with that. I had read somewhere that they only play mp3's, so didn't think to test it sooner. That means I don't have to use a High Resolution audio player through aux in as I did in my last car, which is good news given the arm rest has open sides.

Lane assist, high beam assist and a few others can be enabled simply with an OBD11 dongle for about £60. Well worth every penny in my opinion.
Unfortunately Traffic Sign Recognition a bit more complex and costly.

Thanks for that.

I've just been watching a video about these and they look simple enough for anyone to use and are a bargain at that. Just gotta wait for these to come back into stock.

Just one bit of info for you bud, myself and others with the 3.0tdi 272 had dodgy batteries that came from the factory.
These got changed under warranty for most.
Something to keep an eye on if the car starts to struggle to start
