Welcome to audi-sport.net. Damian @DPM should be able to sort you out with springs.

Welcome mate

@Alex Holmes fitted front springs to his avant I'm sure he can give you his thoughts on his set up as his car also seems to sit low on the rear stock form :)

All avants sit lower on the rears than saloons , even with aftermarket fixed height kits, not as much and some hardly noticible but still a bit.
Coilovers are the only effective way to get a specific ride height.
My old bus is very close to being level but there is still a bit less on the rears.

best go with new springs as a min front and rear that are matched really.
OEM s-line dampers are pretty poor and even worse with lowered springs.
If your messing around with taking dampers off to change springs , I recommend replacing dampers and springs .
You'll notice a massive improvement , but down to you .

My old bus , same variant as yours.
19" with Bilstein b8's and h&R 45mm drop , its nots bad.
still a bit lower on the rear or higher on the front, just depends on your view point.

I fitted eibach sportline lowering springs to just the front of my Avant to cure the huge front arch gap which they achieved very well. I only did the front as i too have a soggy bottom!

Couple of before and afters for you

Before drop

After drop

Last one is after everything settled in

Front arch is taller to allow for a turned wheel under compression of a bump .

A more obvious example was the old E46 .

Exactly Gaz , and owners also never factor in the effect of increased wheel offset with lowering kits.
staying with sensible offsets and not going silly low will avoid compression contact on turning, increase the rears a bit really is the best way.

AP shocks and springs on mine. A mate has AP coilovers on his b5 S4 and the ride is awesome.
