Hi again fella's it seems my electrical problems could be the result of an iffy battery so what is the best battery to get for my 2005 A6 Allroad C5 ? Any help would as always would be much appreciated.

Varta make Bosch Batteries . A Silver Varta battery is the same battery as a Bosch S5 . And Bosch batteries always tend to be a little more expensive.
Look at these 2 batteries they are the same.

Varta make OE batteries for most VAG cars . A Silver Varta is the same spec as an OE Varta battery.
If you are thinking of keeping the car 5yrs or longer I would fit the Varta. Exide are good batteries it has the highest CCA rating of any of the batteries but a 4yr warranty as opposed to 5yrs on the Varta. Exide are cheaper than a Varta though.
