Hi,
Have someone ever accessed the driver side flap motors from A3 8P without removing the whole dash? We are talking about a regular European driver-side, i changed the V71 flap that was with a mechanical fault and cleaned the V113 AND v159, but i still hear some kind of clicking from the driver side flaps, i would like to clean and test one by one, but its really difficult to access that side, i can't even get the hands on the screws, any suggestion?
Anyway i got a scheme from a russian manual (i don't understand what if says, but i translate and i search the part numbers by doing CTRL+F and works fine) please have a look on the flaps im talking about.
All this work because 1 year ago i bought this car without any air con, the climatronic was only showing ECON light and my mechanic changed the climatronic, filled the air con and it started to work only on "low temp" mode, but it always trigered me the strange noises i heard inside the air con from the flaps, now i bought a VCDS ran the scan and got like 8 errors where there was 2 mechanical flaps problems, i cleaned one replaced the other, cleared the errors, but now i got 1 single error, that is about running a basic settings to realign everything, that doesn't seem to work with me, i tried almost everything, nothing works with me, when i click to run the test 001 basic settings, it starts to put flaps working for 5 seconds then just stops, the fiels that i see on videos showing the current flap positions say N/A N/A N/A and my climatronic is now with ECON light on, like the old climatronic i had, so i think my old climatronic is good aswell or this one is broken to...
The good new is that the AIR con now runs both cold and hot air, but i still hear flaps all the time clicking non stop... and there is no ERROR for any flap at the VCDS...
