In the dark and rain and wind the other day at an hour that was stupid to try, I managed to get the climate controls off and the MMI head unit pulled far enough out to try to plug in a hockey puck aerial.
But in the dark and rain and wind, I couldn't figure out why the back of my head unit doesn't seem to match any of the images I'd managed to find in my prior research. They all said the blue aerial connector was on the back/right of the unit.
On mine, there is no blue connector on the right/back but there is a blue connector top/centre with a little white clip. I couldn't get that connector off, couldn't see properly and got fed up so I put it all back together and went to bed.
I'm hoping to attempt the aerial again this weekend, so could anyone shed any light on what my MMI unit might be and exactly which is the GPS aerial connector I have to take off?
Thanks.
