I would imagine/hope/assume it is oem coming out of Crewe Audi - especially at that price...

Loads on ebay claiming to be oem at much cheaper, some even happy to display a part number sticker - like this below, but the part number is actually for an S7 badge and a close up of the actual product shows it to be cheap Chinese!

Black rings seem to be an OE option now, not sure on badges.

On the Audi config site if you choose a S Line style A1 it has black rings.

How easy is it to get the old rings / badges off and fit new ones? Any risk of paint or grill damage?

Has anyone got the measurements for the RS3 boot badge on a Sportback 8v?

Length from the left side boot and bottom boot to underside badge, measured from the gap, edge.

Only way to get genuine ones is to order through Audi dealer.

Yes they do, just bough full set from Audi dealer, also all RS3 Sport Edition models now come standard with black badges front and back.

Price does not guarantee OEM!! AGAIN THIS QUESTION WAS A YEAR OR SO AGO BEFOE OEM BADGES BECAME WIDELY AVAILABLE.

Interested to hear how you get on removing the rear Audi emblems, think it just takes time heating up removing and then removing the glue residue....I have little patience for that!

Lol been on the car 7 months now.

Rear rings just need warming to soften adhesive and some floss to aid removal.

Any residue can be removed with AutoSmart Tardis.
