So guys, I have noticed that my steering has gotten noisey when im parking up and having to full crank left or right. As im turning the wheel it sounds creaky but its like dud dud dud dud as im turning. but i dont feel anything through the wheel. sounds like to me like rubber on rubber or something. Only does it when im stationary parking up. Its under extended warranty with Audi. Is this something I should get checked out or is it something these cars do. Car is 2016 and done 27K.

I dont think its the steering rack, well i hope not. theres no knocking and i dont feel anything through the wheel.

I have this also. 2019 model. Didn’t notice it during the summer months. I thought it might be due to winter tyres or the cold weather. I notice it when I’m reversing out and have the steering almost at full lock. Going to say it to Audi when I take it for a service.

Yeah I think I will mention it when mines goes in for service. funnly enough it didnt do it once last night. think it depends on the temp/weather. Im guessing is a rubber bush or top mounts.

ARB bushes sometimes do this on locks whilst standing, hot & cold weather obviously affects these, which is maybe why it's doing intermittently.

Little spray of wd40 or spray grease, had the same to prove the issue on an older car but exact symptoms.
