Hi all,
Seen this RS3 advertised at Stirling Audi and was curious as to peoples opinions of the colour!
Also, has anyone here purchased their RS3's via Audi approved used and got any feedback or things to look out for when buying?
Cheers

bought mine from glasgow audi and service was excellent, they resprayed quite a bit of the car at my request and were great to deal with.

That's good to hear Jebus!
Do you remember if they were awkward about service work/ reconditioning the car (If required) or was your car still relatively new at that point so it wasn't required? Main concern is condition / wear on brakes but i imagine due to the price they will be very strict regarding them!

I quite like the look of that apart from the wheels, the black to me doesn’t really go with the rest of it. (But then I rarely like black wheels on a car!).

Standard silver with that body colour would be my preference, but not for everyone!

I bought approved used and not had any problems with any warranty work after purchase.

yeah my car is only just coming up on 2 years old, actually noticed a mark on the paint after i had purchased and they were easy to deal with and sorted it no probs. Only my opinion but i dont imagine them being easy to budge on brakes as they are usually down as a wear and tear item and not generally covered under a warranty as such. BUT nothing ventured, nothing gained, i would at least chance my arm on anything i wasnt happy with as at the end of the day they want the sale! I went with audi approved as i just feel its better peace of mind when buying this type of car and parting with the higher amount of cash lol.

Yeah, its a lot to spend so having Audi look it over and sell it under their scheme definitely adds that extra level of confidence.

Did either of you view the car before collection or was the car ready to go pretty much ready to go once you got there? i only ask as i cant get to there dealership before the day i would look to collect due to the distance to dealership/ lack of free time.

Cheers

yeah i went and viewed it and took it out for a thorough test drive, you not local to stirling then?

No unfortunately, around 300 miles / 6 hours away unfortunately, Was interested in the car due to the one off colour of it and the spec but between the money and colour side of things (Love Floret Silver) i think im going to try and look closer to home!

I travelled 350 miles (glasgow to Wimbledon) to pick up my used RS3 I sourced through audi approved used scheme , lots of communication from salesman who seemed happy to answer any questions I had and correct anything I was concerned with.

If you get a good salesman you shouldn't have any issues

Ask for Abie (male) at Stirling Audi, top salesman there. I’ve dealt with him for years, does help he’s my brothers good mate, but ive bought a few from him, he’ll help you out.

As above bought my used R8 from Audi approved without seeing it (subject to a test drive and final viewing) and would do it again.
Salesman was great, 2yr manufacturers warranty ue to being Audi approved and less than 2years old and even replaced all four tyres and front pads due to them meeting the approved threashold for replacement.

Did they carry out the work (pads and tyres ect) before you had fully agreed to buy the car or only once you had confirmed that you were buying it and payment method was sorted/ finance secured?
Surely they would do it before having a customer ready to buy the car as they have to take it to the Audi approved threshold anyway?

No finance involved.
Did everything remotely including agreeing a price, pads had already been done and when asked about the tyre tread left they said that they were below the audi approved threshold and would be replaced...........now obviously I don't really know if they had been done prior to agreeing a price or after........either way saved me a grand or so.
I understand there is a 100+ checklist for audi approved and a statement that basically says if applicable items are below a certain threshold they are replaced.........obviously why audi approved is more expensive but so far no issues at all and really enjoying not having a turbo engine anymore.
