Hello fellow 8p owners just wondering if anyone is running the Maxton Design front splitter and the side skirt defusers. Looking for some pics if you are if possible as the ones on their website aren't very good nor are the ones on Google images. Also I am sure I saw on here that it is possible with a bit of cutting to fit the rs3 8p rear defuser to a Fl s3 8p if so anyone got a link to the thread. Thanks

Got a V1 on an S3 if that’s any help??

I dropped my front by 25mm and now i cant get out of Tesco Petrol station without grounding the stock front, i would rip that off in a week :)

I now have to reverse onto my drive, multi story car parks are a no no and this is what happens if you try to get onto ramps, even with extensions...

I'm currently at stock height and just wanted it to look a bit lower + the miss is using it as a daily so definitely not going lower yet lol. Oh and I feel ur pain Jon did this to my clio 182 splitter when it was low .

That’s at standard ride height too, Maxtons do look good though...

Oh :grimacing:. That's good to know think I will have to wait then so I don't cause the miss even more stress. Anyone got a link for fitting the rs3 defuser?

I only went down 25mm on the Eibach pro springs and its been the worse thing i ever did with this car and i will change back to std ASAP.

That's good to know as I was going to go down that route when I need new shocks and go with what seems to be the damper to go with the BILSTEIN B8 but may now go with the standard springs and the Bilstein shocks if possible.

I found the thread for the rs3 defuser :icon thumright:

@Bryant1998 I am going to make u scroll through all threads like I just did for 2 hours lol

Does it handle any better on the eibachs or purely visual?

Mines on the stock spring and shocks, 10 years old feel like it needs replacing... bit bouncy in corners

End up being the guy I who's BCS I bought

for some reason the eibach pro kit for the S3 only includes front springs as they think it rides high on the front. trouble is after fitting it rides high on the back so the fronts too low, you sort of look down the bonnet rather than across it :) TBH i would go for new stock springs next time but that just me. If its bouncing i expect your shocks are tired like mine.

I’d heard that but thought it must be bs! Think I might do that, I’d imagine is a lot cheaper than bilstein coilovers...

I had some stance+ coilovers on my A3 so I’ve always thought the S3 bounced a bit more tbh

Get a set of ST or H&R springs. I've never understood why Eibach only sell the fronts - spring rates and all that but also what @paddy mentions above. I went for ST-X coilovers, not top of the line but not the cheapest either - I can set the ride height but the drive is a thousand times more comfortable than std S3 suspension.
