Badges...Chrome or Black?

I went black as I thought it fitted well with the rest of the black.

Got my rear badge from eBay last week just waiting on better weather to fit. It is slightly smaller than original but by a very small amount only 2-3mm max.

Anyone got any special techniques products to aid in the removal of the old one and it’s adhesive? .... spent hours today removing number plate adhesive with ‘stick stuff remover’ from Halfords and still didn’t get it all!

I used a hair dryer to warm up the glue and dental floss or fishing line. So long as you have warned the badges up you can gently get your finger nails underneath and lift but don't lift to much as the badges can dig into the paint.
I used Tardis to remove the glue. If you soak paper towel with Tardis and stick it over the glue and soak it some more leaving it for 5-10 minutes it will make life a lot easier.

Thanks I have heard Tardis mentioned in a couple of searches so will have to get some ordered up don’t know where I’d get it local.

You have to get it direct from an Autosmart rep. There are alternatives in Halfords and the like. Just look for a tar and glue remover. Autoglym do one it's just that the Autosmart one is quite cost effective.

Saw the autoglym one in Halfords so might grab one tomorrow and have a go with that first then.

Thanks for the advice
