Vag com serial cable , soft and ok with win 10 ?

using at moment , vag-lite app with Bluetooth link

moving on , any Links to suitable serial cable and Vag-com program ?

assume will run on win-10 64 bit ?

I'm currently running VCDSLite with aftermarket cable on Windows 10 pro 64 bit latest build no problems at all

Vag com (vcds) is free from the ross tech website and works with windows 10 doesn’t work with Mac or iOS unless you have with a certain app

Which one are you after the latest one has a 3,vin,10 vin and unlimited vin options or th older hex+ can pops up in the classifieds but is unlimited and only works up to 2015 models

Same as although mine will be going to the classifieds soon as looking to trade in my r32 for something newer

Tnx, is it possible to read all ecu codes etc with this version .
using the android app at the moment . thats limited

Yeah the hex+USB+can(works up to 2015) and the newer one will read all codes, log data and be able to recode/change anything can also reset your service light basically it does everything

It’s no longer available new so you would have to keep your eyes on classifieds but they do come up often it was there most popular lead still go for 200-250 since the new ones a vin limited

USB is also option, I understand the blue-tooth dongles are not fast enough , I have one with the free android app
but its very limited
