VC maps not full screen

I had some bugs with the arrow in the large dials from time to time.
If changing the dial size does not resolve, have you tried hard-rebooting the MMI (push silver Nav / Radio buttons toward screen and press down on jog wheel)?
If you have the new B9.5 sans MMI controls sorry I am not sure of the procedure on those!
EDIT: Another thing to try is to switch away from Google Maps to Traffic and back. Might force a redraw

I thought it was press the jog wheel then same time either side radio and tel buttons up then the MMI will reboot
That probably reboots, whereas the method I mentioned is explicitly for shutting it down / restarting it. Both should have the same outcome.
You're correct, I don't think the two processes are exactly the same, switching it off with the volume control is a soft reboot, power still on. Whereas using the three fingered method is a hard reset, power off then on...
