1.4tfsi Stuttering when driving at a constant speed

I have started noticing more and more that when i am driving at a constant speed for example 60mph whether it be with the cruise control on or off. The car stutters, the rev’s fluctuate.

under normal acceleration there is no sing of the problem it only happens when cruising along.

Any one have any ideas what i should be looking at as its got me baffled.

Ignition coils, spark plugs, etc... That's where I'd start... Actually , I'd start with running the diagnostics first

As said, you need a scan to help narrow it down. Is it the COD model? Is your oil level correct?

Yeah it is COD, its not in 2 cylinder mod when it happens. Checked my oil level and its fine. It is due a service in a 1000 miles.

ok. just wondered if low oil affected the function of the COD like what happens on a honda vtec engine when its low on oil

Had the car scanned today no faults found. Since the other day i put some injection cleaner in the fuel. Once the tank was empty filled up with v-power, and car actually feels like it pulls better than it has for a while.

used to use v-power in my golf r but never used in in the audi as didn’t think a would notice any difference

maybe your fuel wasnt too good then as you wouldnt really feel any real difference going from 95 to the v-power under normal circumstances.
