AUDI A3 8P - esp button connector fallen behind dash

Hi, new member, I decided to remove the trim on the front dash so I can access the buttons to remove the blank ones. This was to see if I can fit in aux button(cable included etc) for concert stereo I have seen a connector on eBay. However, my esp light is on the dash, so I thought maybe it could be the button, so I took out the button at the front of the dash and released the connector. The connector cable has fallen behind in the dash hole. How do i get it out ? do i remove the stereo ?to access the esp cable?.
